About My Blog

I lost my hearing slowly over time, and by the age of 60 was almost totally deaf. Over the last four years, I had two cochlear implants put into my head.  Now I can hear speech, and sounds! However, music is not supported by the implants, which impacted me because I used to play guitar and sing. I was very depressed for over a year because of this. To help my healing, I started going on walks with my husband, and taking nature photos.  It was a way for me to share my music in another way. To my delight, I hear nature sounds so well. Birds, streams, the wind, all provide me with music. Love,  Wendy
